Job summary

Allara is hiring board-certified Endocrinologists to deliver exceptional care to women via video visits. This fully remote role requires an active medical license in at least one U.S. state and ABIM Endocrinology certification.

You will join a multidisciplinary team and educate patients on preventive care using evidence-based practices. Expect flexible scheduling, malpractice coverage, and a per-visit compensation model with opportunities for additional pay for charting and admin tasks.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Active ABIM Endocrinology board certification.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state.
• Autonomous clinical practice with strong diagnostic judgment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with compassionate patient care.
• Experience with telemedicine and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans via video visits.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality care.
• Complete required training and uphold Allara's clinical policies and best practices.
• Educate patients on preventative care using evidence-based strategies.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and chart promptly.
• Respond to patient questions and administrative messages with clarity and care.
• Dedicate a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week, including consultations and medical guidance, with prescribing when appropriate.

Your Impact

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans via video visits

Required Qualifications

• Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Board Certification: Active ABIM board certification in Endocrinology through an ACGME-accredited program
• Experience: All qualified Endocrinologists are encouraged to apply
  • Women's health experience is a plus!
• Clinical Independence: Proven ability to function as an autonomous provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication, with an emphasis on compassion and clarity
• Webside Manner: A natural ability to build trust and connection with patients in a virtual setting
• Evidence-Based Practice: A genuine commitment to delivering care rooted in current clinical research
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working across multiple platforms including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools
• Telemedicine Experience: Prior telehealth experience is a plus
• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is required.
