Jefferson Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide designated direct and indirect patient care activities under the supervision of the licensed clinical team. The role supports telehealth encounters between patients and providers and collaborates with all clinical departments at the patient’s site.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, knowledge of medical terminology and patient care needs, and the ability to maintain a safe environment.

Responsabilidades

• Communicates with interprofessional team, patient, family and designated care partners.
• Performs direct and indirect patient care activities under licensed clinical team direction.
• Maintains a safe patient care environment.
• Assists with supplies and equipment to enable efficient unit operations.
• Conducts patient rounds, anticipates needs and responds to call lights promptly.
• May serve as a virtual safety associate as needed; may participate in telehealth exams with distant providers using devices and software.
