Overview

Join a purpose-driven, physician-led Telepsychiatry practice delivering timely, expert care to hospitals across the country. We are seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist for consultation-liaison work in a fully remote Telepsychiatry position with flexible scheduling and strong clinical infrastructure.

The psychiatrist will use video technology to diagnose and treat patients with behavioral disorders in emergency departments and inpatient medical/surgical units across Providence Telehealth’s coverage footprint. There may be opportunities to diversify the role as the program expands to include other inpatient/outpatient settings depending on interest.

Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric consultation-liaison services to medical/surgical inpatients and emergency departments via telepsychiatry.
  • Deliver care remotely using a secure, scalable telehealth platform.
  • Coordinate with on-site teams via digital workflows and a 24/7 Digital Access Center (DAC) for pre-call workflows, real-time cart placement, and escalations.
  • Utilize telepresenters for video cart management and on-site coordination.
Qualifications
  • Board Certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry preferred (U.S.).
  • Licensed in at least one U.S. state (multi-state licensure highly desirable).
  • Comfortable with telehealth platforms, EMRs, and remote patient interactions.
  • Experience providing psychiatric consultation-liaison services to medical/surgical inpatients and emergency departments required.
  • 2+ years’ experience required. Compensation amounts listed are non-negotiable.
