Job description

NTS is hiring a Telecommunications Technician to triage, troubleshoot, install, and config digital and VOIP phone technologies and VoIP system.

Experience with:

• Moves, adds, changes of lines, #s and phones
• PBX system
• POTS, Digital, VOIP, SIP, PRI, DID
• Automated attendants, call processing trees, voice mail systems
• Troubleshooting connections
• VoIP technology
• Work with vendor for deep dive issues
• Experience with Avaya a plus

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED, Military Service, and minimum 5 years' experience in technology, communications or related field.
• Able to perform in a fast-paced environment with the ability to organize and complete multiple tasks.
• High degree of customer service skills, flexibility and an overall team approach to work performed.
• Strong Customer Service, phone support and mechanical reasoning skills.
• Must possess a valid Virginia Driver's license and maintain auto insurance.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Pay: $45,000 - $55,000
