Job summary

TALENT Software Services seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead enterprise telecom, network, and infrastructure initiatives in the Metro Atlanta area. The role partners with project leads to apply PM knowledge, standards, and governance across complex facilities.

The ideal candidate has a PMP certification and 5+ years of project or program management experience, with hands-on work in telecommunications, data networks, VoIP, and enterprise technology modernization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or Related field.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of Project or Program Management experience.
  • Experience managing Telecommunications, Network Infrastructure, and Enterprise Infrastructure implementations.
  • Strong vendor management and stakeholder coordination experience.
  • Experience with VoIP technologies, Enterprise networking, Wireless technologies, Telecommunications infrastructure, and Enterprise technology modernization projects.

Position Summary
  • Support project leads by applying project management knowledge, tools, techniques, and best practices.
  • Drive the adoption of project management methodologies, standards, and governance.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement enterprise telecommunications, network, voice, mobility, audiovisual, and infrastructure projects across DBHDD facilities.
  • Manage technology modernization initiatives, vendor coordination, and infrastructure planning to ensure successful project delivery aligned with agency objectives.
  • Must be local to the Metro Atlanta area.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Planning & Project Delivery
  • Plan and manage enterprise telecommunications, network, voice, and infrastructure modernization projects.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations.
  • Coordinate project activities across multiple DBHDD facilities and stakeholders.
  • Track project progress and provide regular status reports to leadership.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Infrastructure Modernization
  • Develop and manage infrastructure modernization roadmaps.
  • Coordinate upgrades and deployments for:
    • Voice Services (VoIP/HVS)
    • Data Networks
    • Wireless Infrastructure
    • Fiber Optic & Structured Cabling
    • Public Address (PA) Systems
    • HVAC Monitoring Systems
    • Fire Alarm Infrastructure
    • Cisco Endpoint Refresh Programs
  • Support implementation of emerging technologies and enterprise infrastructure enhancements.
Telecommunications & Voice Services
  • Lead and coordinate HVS/VoIP transformation initiatives.
  • Develop implementation and migration strategies for voice modernization projects.
  • Coordinate:
    • Site assessments
    • Infrastructure evaluations
    • Inventory reviews
    • Equipment staging
    • Deployment activities
    • Migration planning
  • Ensure seamless migration from legacy voice platforms to modern VoIP solutions.
Vendor & Contract Management
  • Build and maintain relationships with telecommunications carriers and technology vendors.
  • Coordinate vendor deliverables and implementation schedules.
  • Monitor vendor performance against project commitments and contractual obligations.
  • Participate in technology evaluations, vendor selection, and procurement activities.
  • Ensure vendor compliance with project timelines and service expectations.
Asset & Infrastructure Governance
  • Oversee technology asset inventory and reconciliation activities.
  • Ensure infrastructure assets are accurately documented in Asset Management systems.
  • Coordinate technology refresh initiatives and equipment lifecycle management.
  • Maintain accurate asset records and infrastructure documentation.
Special Projects
  • Support enterprise-wide technology and infrastructure initiatives.
  • Coordinate network integration and modernization projects.
  • Assist with strategic agency technology programs and special initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enterprise technology solutions.
Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of Project or Program Management experience.
