Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Telecommunications Project Manager to lead the design and deployment of Integrated Infrastructure and telecom systems at sites around Ashburn, VA.

You will support the project Superintendent and Engineering, prepare design/build estimates, present proposals to customers, coordinate materials and tools with the team, and manage cash flow and manpower to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on telecom construction experience
• Experience creating project schedules with Primavera P6, MS Project, or Excel
• Experience in project estimation or new job takeoffs
• Knowledge of CAT5/CAT6 and OSP/ISP cabling

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and deployment of Integrated Infrastructure and telecommunications systems
• Assist the project Superintendent and Engineering with project documentation and field office support
• Prepare design/build project estimates based on design criteria
• Meet with customers to present proposals and cost estimates
• Coordinate procurement of materials, tools, and equipment with the project team and warehouse

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for aTelecommunications Project Manager to join a design services company for mission critical systems. This is based in Ashburn, VA. You will run job sites based on where you live as to keep the commute reasonable.

Essential Duties of theTelecommunications Project Manager:

• Leading the design and deployment of Integrated Infrastructure and telecommunications systems.
• Assisting the project Superintendent and Engineering in the preparation of project documentation requirements, project layout, and field office support.
• Preparing a design/build project estimate based on design criteria.
• Meeting with customers to present proposals and cost estimates.
• Coordinating the acquisition of all materials, monitoring tools and equipment requirements with the project team and the warehouse.
• Overall financial management of the project (s) including cash flow and manpower needs.

Qualifications of theTelecommunications Project Manager:

• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in construction specific to telecommunications.
• Experience with creating project schedules with tools similar to Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Excel.
• Experience in project estimation (like estimating change orders) or completing new job takeoffs.
• Require understanding/knowledge of Structured Cabling projects like CAT 5, CAT6 along with OSP & ISP cabling..

Compensation for theTelecommunications Project Manager:

• $100,000 - $130,000 (based on experience)
