Job summary

Indigo Beam, LLC in Houston, TX seeks a Telecommunications Project Manager to lead ICT and infrastructure projects. You will oversee multi-million-dollar structured cabling, fiber optics and low-voltage builds across enterprise sites and healthcare facilities.

You will own projects end-to-end, guide field teams, manage budgets and act as the primary contact for clients and engineers, ensuring delivery on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years managing low-voltage or telecommunications projects.
• Knowledge of structured cabling (Cat6A, fiber, OSP/ISP), AV systems, security and network design.
• Experience with MS Project, Procore or Bluebeam, or BIM/Revit workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from scoping and estimating through engineering, procurement, installation, testing and hand-off.
• Ensure standards and compliance with BICSI, ANSI/TIA and Houston codes.
• Manage on-site technicians, subcontractors and field crews; conduct safety briefings and quality audits.
• Own budgets: track milestones, manage changes and allocate resources to protect margins.
• Serve as central client liaison, with proactive risk management and status updates.

Job description

We are looking for an organized and technically strong Telecommunications Project Manager to lead ICT and infrastructure projects in Houston, TX.

You will manage multi-million-dollar structured cabling, fiber optic and low-voltage build-outs across enterprise commercial, healthcare and industrial sites. You will own projects end to end, lead field teams and be the main point of contact for client stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• Manage the full project lifecycle: lead projects from scoping and estimating through engineering, procurement, installation, testing and final hand-off.
• Ensure standards and compliance: make sure all structured cabling, data center designs and distribution paths follow BICSI, ANSI/TIA and local Houston building codes.
• Lead teams and vendors: manage on-site technicians, subcontractors and field crews. Run safety briefings and quality control audits.
• Own the budget: track milestones, manage budgets, process change orders and allocate resources to protect project margins.
• Communicate with stakeholders: act as the central contact for clients, MEP engineers and general contractors, with clear updates and proactive risk management.

What You Bring

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent field experience)
• 5+ years managing low-voltage or telecommunications projects
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling (Cat6A, fiber optic, OSP/ISP), AV systems, security/access control and network architecture
• Experience with project tools such as MS Project, Procore or Bluebeam, or with BIM/Revit workflows
• Familiarity with the Houston commercial construction market, local permitting and regional safety protocols
