An established industry player is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead technical projects within the FAA framework. This role involves overseeing project execution, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing telecommunications services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, particularly within the FAA context, and a strong background in network operations. This position will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing technical projects to ensure they are completed on time, compliant with FAA rules and policies, and according to scope and quality requirements. They will coordinate resources, manage risks, and achieve project objectives.
This position will independently perform complex tasks related to defining and proposing performance requirements, and optimizing telecommunications networks and services. Analyzes and evaluates network operations efficiencies and recommends design changes to improve services to users. Responsible for providing technical or supervisory leadership for Contractor employees in areas supported.
They will manage the timely submission of project forms including:
Oversee / provide logistics and planning for FAA network communication upgrade projects:
Update CWP (Corporate Work Plan) Portal, FAA.gov Project information & tracking tool. Primavera P6 schedule knowledge.
Communicate with Telecom Vendors as required. Primary is L3 Harris. SDSA (Short Duration Sunset Announcements), SCP (Special Construction Projects) & RTIR Terrestrial (Fiber) & Cellular Equipment Projects (LTE).

Compensation depends on education, experience, skills, location, and other factors. The projected salary range is USD $77,000 to USD $120,275 per year.
