Job summary

Bristol Alliance of Companies is seeking a Telecommunications Technician to perform highly technical installations and diagnostics on structured cabling systems and network components. This role supports both individual and team work in complex telecom environments.

Responsibilities include installing cabling, testing, troubleshooting, and coordinating with other departments to plan new or upgraded systems. A strong safety mindset and ability to read engineering documents are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years in telecommunications or related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain structured cabling systems (fiber and copper).
• Test and troubleshoot network components and equipment.
• Read and interpret work orders, specs, and drawings.
• Coordinate with teams and supervisors to plan cabling projects and builds.
