Responsibilities

• The Telecommunications Engineer (Junior) is responsible for engineering and/or analytical tasks within the telecom function (e.g., network design, engineering, implementation, diagnostics, or operations/support).
• Performs network monitoring, operations, installation, and/or maintenance for local, off-site, and remote locations.
• Configures, deploys, tests, maintains, monitors, and troubleshoots network components to deliver a secure, high-performance network; includes quality assurance and testing of transmission media and infrastructure components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience. General experience: 3–5 years of IT work experience.
• Proven ability to work independently or as part of a team under general supervision and to coach junior technical staff.
