Job summary

Henkels & McCoy is seeking laborers for our Telecom program in Indiana, with current work locations including Elkhart, Valparaiso, Lafayette, Kokomo, and Marion. The role involves assisting crew members in underground utility construction, trenching, and general site tasks.

Candidates must be able to lift heavy objects, wear all safety gear, hold a valid driver’s license, and be available for overtime. Pre-employment drug testing is required, and the employer is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 100 lb.
• Must wear required personal protective equipment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Pre-employment drug testing.
• Overtime availability weekdays and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Broom/shovel work assisting crew in underground utility construction.
• Assist crew members in trenching, digging, pulling and removing material.
• Operate power equipment for demolition, concrete removal, grading, truck/dumpster loading, site clean-up and other general tasks.
• Monitor and maintain condition of company equipment.
• Loads and unloads trucks and hoists materials.
• Participate in daily job briefings and safety meetings.
