Job summary

Henkels & McCoy is seeking laborers for our Telecom program in Indiana, with current work locations including Elkhart, Valparaiso, Lafayette, Kokomo, and Marion. The role involves assisting crew members in underground utility construction, trenching, and general site tasks.

Responsibilities

• Broom/shovel work assisting crew in underground utility construction.
• Assist crew members in trenching, digging, pulling and removing material.
• Operate power equipment for demolition, concrete removal, grading, truck/dumpster loading, site clean-up and other general tasks.
• Monitor and maintain condition of company equipment.
• Loads and unloads trucks and hoists materials.
• Participate in daily job briefings and safety meetings.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift, reach, dig and carry heavy objects; with frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and infrequent lifting of up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to wear all required personal safety equipment.
• A valid drivers license is required.
• Pre-Employment Drug Testing.
• Must be available for overtime weekday and/or weekend.Labor experience in utilities, preferred but not required.
