Job summary

Kanaan Communications, LLC is seeking a Laborer for its Telecom Underground team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. You will participate in all phases of underground construction, including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

You will install underground telecommunications cabling, operate construction equipment, complete daily production reports, and assist with site restoration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent (as stated in ad)
• Previous experience safely operating hand tools and utility trucks is preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform construction tasks including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment
• Install underground telecommunications cabling
• Operate construction equipment and maintain work areas
• Clearly communicate with all team members
• Complete daily production reports
• Assist with site restoration efforts
• Work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned
