Job summary

SolveNow Inc. is seeking a Telecommunications Systems Engineer in Tempe, AZ to lead portions of large telecom design projects. You’ll collaborate with architects and discipline engineers to deliver fully coordinated 3D BIM designs using AutoCAD and Revit, ensuring NEC, TIA, and client specs are met.

You will interface with client counterparts and guide design teams through complex packages from conception to construction while adhering to industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or four-year non-technical degree.
• 4+ years of experience in telecommunications design and construction.
• Knowledge of NEC (NFPA 70) and electrical design requirements.
• Knowledge of TIA standards and BICSI design practices.
• Experience leading a telecom design team.
• Knowledge of design and construction specifications.
• Experience estimating and scheduling small- to medium-sized projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead portions of large telecom design projects as a scope owner.
• Coordinate with architects and other discipline leads to produce integrated 3D models.
• Interface with client counterparts to design facilities meeting their needs.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to create coordinated 3D BIM models across disciplines.
• Ensure designs comply with NEC, TIA, and client specifications.
