Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Telecom Supervisor to support underground telecommunications infrastructure projects, including conduit installation and field operations. You will coordinate daily activities, guide the team, and track project progress from initiation to completion.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in underground telecom installs and 5–10 years in a supervisory role, with strong communication for updates to internal teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of supervisory-level experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities for underground telecommunications infrastructure projects.
• Support conduit installation projects for dry utilities, telecommunications backbones, and service providers.
• Read and interpret construction prints and project drawings.
• Coordinate the placement of handholes, manholes, conduit, cable pedestals, and equipment pads.
• Provide daily direction to team members and help maintain project schedules and productivity goals.
• Communicate project updates with internal teams and project stakeholders.
• Maintain spreadsheets and project tracking documentation.
• Assist with change orders and project-related documentation.
• Track project costs, revenue, and other job-level financial information.
• Help set up new projects and monitor overall project progress from initiation through completion.

Insight Global is seeking a Telecom Supervisor to join one of our large utility, engineering, and AEC clients. This individual will support telecommunications infrastructure projects with a focus on underground conduit installation and field operations. The Telecom Supervisor will coordinate daily project activities, provide direction to team members, track project progress, and assist with project documentation and financial tracking. The ideal candidate has a strong telecommunications background, previous team leadership experience, and the ability to independently manage multiple project priorities.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities for underground telecommunications infrastructure projects.
• Support conduit installation projects for dry utilities, telecommunications backbones, and service providers
