Job summary

A global telecom solutions provider seeks a Telecommunications Site Technician to join the Networks & Engineering team in Denver. This role involves decommissioning telecom infrastructure, ensuring safe and efficient site exits, and testing fiber optic connections. Qualifications

• Technical expertise in decommissioning telecom infrastructure.
• Problem-solving skills to handle technical issues independently.
• Ability to manage equipment while meeting contractual standards.

Responsibilities

• Decommission telecommunication sites and infrastructure.
• Use CLI on equipment management ports.
• Test and verify fiber optic connections using OTDR and power meters.

Skills

Knowledge of test equipment (OTDR, power meter, cable certifier, multimeter)

Ability to read and interpret site drawings and technical specifications

Familiarity with copper, fiber optic and coaxial cable systems

Track record with multiple technologies (wireless, fiber, copper, DWDM, SONET, Routers, DACS, Switches)
