Job summary

TrueNet Communications is seeking a Quality Control Technician to inspect work and ensure compliance with client and company guidelines. This role supports field operations across North America, with relocation assistance available.

The position requires reading blueprints, operating testing equipment such as OTDR, and using Excel for reporting. Travel up to 100% is expected; a high school diploma and telecom inspection experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant inspection experience in telecom/construction/utilities.
• Proficient with Windows and Android; tablet preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Able to read blueprints and technical documentation.
• Able to operate inspection testing equipment such as OTDR.

Responsibilities

• Inspect assigned work locations for compliance with client or company specifications and guidelines.
• Inspections may include work safety, installation, and troubleshooting compliance.
• Use testing equipment based on client specifications; develop inspection procedures.
• Record and document inspection results and findings in data sheets and forms.
• Ensure timely completion of inspections and report activities and metrics.
