Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Software QA / Software Testing.
• Experience testing telecom software in related environments such as telecommunications, networking, or similar tech.
• Hands-on experience with mobile application testing on Android and iOS.
• Experience with web and backend testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and the software defect lifecycle.
• Experience with Jira or a similar defect tracking system.
• Ability to analyze application, device, and server logs.
• Working knowledge of Linux.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow an end-to-end software workflow and identify root cause.
• Familiarity with test automation concepts and tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with software development and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Test telecom software applications across mobile, web, backend, and integrated systems.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, sanity, and acceptance testing.
• Test Android and iOS mobile applications.
• Perform Web and Backend testing, including services, data flows, and system integrations.
• Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test plans, and acceptance test procedures.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using Jira.
• Investigate issues using application, device, server, and system logs.
• Troubleshoot problems across application, backend, network, and integration layers.
• Verify software fixes and perform targeted regression testing.
• Support software releases, patches, and customer-specific validation.
• Work closely with Software Development, Product, Delivery, and QA teams.
• Help identify opportunities for test automation and contribute to automated testing.
• Track QA metrics including test progress, coverage, defects, and release quality.
• Communicate testing results, risks, blockers, and overall quality status.
