Job summary

Groupe Kardol is seeking a Network Tester 5 to join our team in Berkeley Heights, NJ for a 6+ month assignment. Fully onsite from 9 AM to 6 PM EST, the role focuses on QA testing of field interoperability plans and hardware/software across wireless networks.

Travel up to 30% is expected. Candidate should have a bachelor's in telecom or CS and 5+ years of related experience, with hands-on experience using QXDM/QCAT/TEMS/Nemo and scripting in Python/JavaScript, plus familiarity with AI/ML

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in telecommunications or computer science related field.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with CDMA, EVDO, LTE, 5G NR desired.
• Prior experience with Qualcomm tools such as QXDM, QCAT, and QPST desired.
• Prior experience with post processing tools such as WindCatcher, Actix, or XCAL/XCAP-M desired.

Responsibilities

• Testing QA specified field interoperability test plans (FIT).
• Testing/troubleshooting hardware, software, embedded software used in wireless voice and data networking.
• Performing sanity testing, stability testing, functionality testing, stress testing and feature testing on various devices.
• Performs lab tests and evaluates new wireless products and accessories, including verification of product features by simulating a variety of customer applications.
• Prepare test results data and write required engineering reports to ensure products compliance with requirements and test plans.
• Works effectively with team members.
• Ability to design, code, and maintain test scripts using Python, JavaScript, or similar languages. Proficiency in AI/ML platforms and APIs (e.g., OpenAI, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, Azure AI Studio).
• Travel required (30%)
