Job summary

Unitek-Global-Services seeks a Project Manager to oversee day-to-day activities and coordinate with the operations team, while growing and applying technical expertise in this area of the company. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated problem solver who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in general business, 5+ years in Project Management, and PMP or CAPM preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Project Management.
• Bachelor's degree in general business; or a combination of education and work experience with required skill set.
• PMP or CAPM preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong command of the English language is required.
• Experience in telecommunications, VoIP, satellite, routers, networking equipment and/or cabling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities and work closely with the operations team.
• Help grow and provide technical expertise in this area of the company.
• Define scope of work for larger projects and rollouts with customers and senior management.
• Provide regular status updates and reporting to management; oversee business financials.
• Ensure policy adherence with respect to safety, assets, production, etc.
• Travel up to 50% of the time; manage project deadlines and changes.
• Other duties as assigned by senior management.
