A/V Project Manager

Classification: Exempt

Your Impact

The A/V Project Manager will oversee the development and execution of systems, projects and proposals. They will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of assigned projects, from initial client meeting through client acceptance.

What You’ll Do

1. Manage client-partner relationships to drive project inception and progress.
2. Act as point of contact on assigned projects.
3. Execute, architect, and manage strategic audiovisual project plans.
4. Estimate financial costs of projects and change orders as required.
5. Occasionally act as onsite manager to ensure client expectations are met.
6. Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse departments for vendor selection and timely receipt of products.
7. Document project proposals, costs, and oversee projects from start to finish.
8. Collaborate on problem resolution with clients, vendors, and technical staff.
9. Ensure project estimating, quoting, costing, and billable hours are on target.
10. Attend project status meetings with clients and/or contractors.
11. Adhere to contracts and design specifications while managing cost, schedule, and quality.
12. Manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
13. Contribute to workload management during peak periods.
14. Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Project management experience in the technology industry required.
• 3-5 years experience in A/V preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks within deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Additional Information

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Requires long hours and weekend work.
• Primarily local travel, with some out-of-area and overnight travel possible.
