Job summary

Sand Cherry Associates is seeking an experienced Project Manager, Telecommunications to lead complex telecom initiatives from planning through implementation. This hybrid Denver role requires 3 on-site days weekly and strong data-driven decision making.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in telecom project management, excels at cross-functional collaboration, and can translate technical details into executive-ready insights. Visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience within the telecommunications industry.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications networks, products, operations, or infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional telecommunications projects.
• Hands-on experience with Jira for project, task, or Agile workflow management.
• Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills with experience creating executive-level presentations.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools is a plus.
• Experience with SQL or other data-querying tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead telecommunications network projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines and RAID logs with status reporting.
• Partner with data teams, engineering, product and stakeholders to drive project execution.
• Manage customer network data issues and workflows in Jira, including epics, stories, tasks, dependencies, and status.
• Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, gaps, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Create executive-level presentations and dashboards for project updates and decisions.
• Track KPIs, milestones, deliverables, and resource and financial metrics.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure accountability for deliverables.
• Facilitate project meetings and stakeholder reviews, including executive presentations.
