Job summary

PTR Global in Albuquerque, NM is seeking an experienced Permit Manager to oversee permitting efforts for fiber/OSP facilities. The role requires sitting in market or willing to travel/relocate at own expense.

You will prepare and submit permit applications, coordinate with municipalities, vendors, and internal teams, track statuses, and ensure timely approvals throughout project lifecycles. Full-time position with benefits; medical, dental, vision and 401K, with compensation determined by market

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing and preparing permitting applications.
• Ability to coordinate with municipalities and internal teams.
• Willingness to travel or relocate as needed for projects.
• Strong data entry and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare, submit, and administer permitting applications.
• Request and record permit fees with internal teams or partners.
• Track high-volume permit statuses daily or weekly.
• Enter data into company systems (Microsoft Office, SharePoint).
• Coordinate with project team to ensure permit submittal packages meet requirements.
• Maintain relationships with municipalities and understand local/state rules.
• Provide updates on permit progress and delays throughout the lifecycle.
