Job summary

AIRBUS Defence and Space Limited offers an undergraduate internship in Portsmouth within the Programme & Project Management family. Join a multidisciplinary team supporting payload and telecom satellite architectures on projects such as OneSAT.

The role requires you to be an undergraduate for the full duration, with interest in space, basic programming, and proficiency in Google Suite. Salary is £24,500 per year, with hybrid working options and 37 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Undergraduates only; must be an undergraduate for the whole placement.
• CV and Cover Letter outlining motivation and suitability must be included.
• Studying towards a degree in Telecommunications Systems, Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics or Physics.

Responsibilities

• Work with Payload Architects across Mechanical, Electrical, EMC and RF disciplines.
• Review equipment test results for Flight Models and ensure test procedures are met.
• Create calibration curves and support satellite telemetry recording and monitoring.
• Contribute to team knowledge base and perform analyses as required.
