Job summary

Niels Fugal Sons Company, LLC seeks a Telecom Lineman to install and maintain fiber and telecom lines, working with experienced linemen to ensure safe, reliable service.

You will perform overhead cable installation, operate bucket trucks and heavy equipment, and maintain safe work sites while traveling for storm response as needed. This position emphasizes safety and hands-on training.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• Valid state driver’s license (not provisional) with acceptable driving record
• Previous construction experience desired, preferably in telecommunications

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of fiber and telecom cables overhead and repair issues to ensure efficient and reliable service
• Safely use equipment such as bucket truck, digger derrick, and excavators
• Safely use hand tools and power tools including wrenches, drills, and saws
• Maintain safe work areas and ensure traffic flows smoothly
• Work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice
• Other duties as assigned
