Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services in the United States seeks a Field Construction Coordinator to support telecommunications projects. You will assist with field data collection, schedule tracking, and documentation to keep projects on time and within budget.

The role involves coordinating with engineering and construction vendors, processing drawings and As-builts, and maintaining project records while promoting Ledcor safety programs. Travel to project sites across the state may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of construction experience.
• Trade certification or related training in an industry-related field.
• Experience as Coordinator, Data Entry specialist is an asset.
• Experience in telecommunications/wireless industry preferred.
• Understanding of construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Knowledge of current construction practices.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new programs.
• Familiarity with scheduling software is an asset.
• Proficiency with Quickbase, Bluebeam, Office 365, SharePoint, Google Drive/Docs/Sheets, and GPS Photo Apps.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist construction and engineering teams with field data collection and tracking project milestones and deadlines.
• Compile and process project documentation including As-builts, redlines, photos, and splice records.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Construction vendors and internal resources in daily OSP operations.
• Support tender and management processes and assist with reviewing invoices and progress claims.
• Request materials from warehouse and document consumption of materials.
• Data entry for daily production, timesheets, and subcontractor records.
• Read construction drawings to assist with pre-construction walkouts and locates.
• Promote Ledcor safety culture and help implement the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP).
