Job Summary – Telecom Expense Management Analyst

• Analyze large telecom expense data using analytics tools like Tableau, Power BI, Excel, and SQL to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize expenditures.
• Manage and audit telecom invoices (wireless, landline, data, cloud) for accuracy, overcharges, and cost efficiencies.
• Develop financial analysis, budget forecasts, and reports to support strategic initiatives and optimize telecom expenses.
• Establish and optimize processes for telecom expense management including asset tracking, invoice analysis, and vendor payments.
• Generate and analyze ServiceNow and PeopleSoft reports; ensure data integrity and accurate asset records with telecom carriers (AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon).
• Lead process improvements to streamline expense management, resource allocation, and project spend tracking.
• Collaborate with Operations Support Analysts and communicate findings and recommendations to leadership.
• Prepare and evaluate status reports, budget forecasts, and monitor spending to ensure projects are within budget and timelines.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies, project budget variances, and non-usage of mobile devices.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, databases), PowerPoint, and AI tools for data analysis and presentations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new telecom technologies and automation solutions for manual processes.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Required: BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (preferred) and 10+ years of related experience in Telecom Expense Management and financial analysis.
