Job summary

Telcom Construction, LLC seeks a Telecom Drill Bores Operator Foreman to oversee and coordinate drilling for telecommunications infrastructure. You’ll guide crew, read prints, determine bore paths, and ensure safe, efficient installation of cables and equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience guiding a crew on drilling/OSP sites or similar settings.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, prints and technical docs.
• Strong focus on safety and compliance on field operations.
• Experience in operating drilling/bores equipment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead new site Job Safety Analysis.
• Read engineering drawings, prints and technical documents for OSP facilities.
• Draw prints or sketches and provide field notes describing OSP facilities.
• Safely operate and control all equipment necessary to complete tasks assigned to crew.
• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Utilize “Mud” mixing systems.
• Ensure accurate drilling and utility protection.
• Schedule, maintain equipment & tooling, and perform site set-up and clean-up.
• Resolve property owner complaints and document work.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned
