What you’ll do as a Telecom Drill Bores Operator

• Determine bore path and locate utilities
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule
• Responsible for site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Valid Class A Commercial driver's license with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it
• Must be able to pass preemployment drug and alcohol tests, DOT medical certificate physical test, and background check
• Experience with drilling equipment, including their capabilities, limitations, and drill setup and design processes

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level, in confined spaces and remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, perform fine hand motions, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift over 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard, and mouse

Salary Range

$25 - $32+ per hour, DOE
