Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC. is seeking a Telecom Drill Bores Operator Foreman to oversee drilling operations for telecom infrastructure on-site. You’ll guide less experienced team members and ensure safe, efficient installation of cables and equipment.

You will read and interpret engineering drawings and provide field notes for OSP facilities, determine bore paths, and protect utilities while coordinating equipment and crew.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+, able to work in the United States for TelCom Construction
• High School Diploma or GED required or relevant work experience
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it
• At least 3 years operating drill bores in telecom or construction industries

Responsibilities

• Lead new site Job Safety Analysis
• Read engineering drawings, prints and technical documents for OSP facilities
• Draw prints or sketches and provide field notes describing OSP facilities
• Safely operate and control all equipment necessary to complete tasks assigned to crew
• Determine bore path and locate utilities
• Utilize mud mixing systems
• Ensure accurate drilling and utility protection
• Schedule, maintain equipment & tooling, and perform site setup and cleanup
• Resolve property owner complaints and document work
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned
