Job summary

Armstrong Utilities in Ashland, OH is hiring a Dispatcher to coordinate daily broadband technician activities, route optimization, and capacity loading. You will act as a super-user for WFM tools, monitor schedules, and ensure on-time customer service.

The role requires knowledge of telecommunications operations, strong PC skills (Windows, HEAT, MS Office, AS/400), and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Broad-based knowledge of telecommunications and cable company operations.
• Excellent PC skills in Windows, HEAT, MS Office and AS/400.
• Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to perform shift work.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily routes for broadband technicians and balance workload.
• Monitor capacity, technician performance, and reassign as needed to meet customer commitments.
• Notify required departments about outages and document actions in AS/400 and NOC tools.
• Provide customer updates and schedule changes as needed.
