Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Deputy Project Leader (Telecommunications) to support a company focused on building data centers in the Charlotte region. This on-site role at Charleston, SC, involves end-to-end project execution with emphasis on estimating, scheduling, and financial management for mission-critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience managing telecommunications or low-voltage infrastructure projects.
• Experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Excel for scheduling and financial tracking.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Support projects from bid through closeout, including estimating, scheduling, and execution oversight.
• Develop and manage project schedules using CPM methodology in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Build detailed cost estimates including labor, materials, subcontractors, travel, and equipment.
• Track and manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of telecom infrastructure projects.
