Job summary

Rally Networks seeks an experienced Corporate Controller to safeguard assets, ensure rigorous internal controls, and deliver accurate financial reporting during rapid network expansion. The role requires telecom accounting expertise, including CAPEX tracking for fiber builds, revenue recognition for subscription services, and grant accounting for BEAD/USDA ReConnect programs.

Lead a high-performing team and drive ERP improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Active CPA strongly preferred.
• 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience with 3+ years in Controller/Assistant Controller roles.
• Experience in telecommunications, broadband, ISP, or heavy infrastructure industries required.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP including ASC 842 and ASC 606; grants and telecom regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end closes with accurate financial statements and dashboards.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations (AP/AR, Payroll, GL).
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls and safeguards for revenue, costs, and budgets.
• Capex tracking for fiber/infrastructure builds; track project budgets vs. actuals.
• Grant compliance for BEAD, RDOF, ARPA funding; ensure proper reporting and reimbursements.
• Revenue recognition for subscription services, installation fees, and equipment leases.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors for telecom taxes and property taxes.
• Oversee inventory of network equipment and telecom assets; optimize ERP/billing integrations.
