Job summary

ITG Communications, LLC is seeking a Construction Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and monitor telecom construction projects from initiation through completion. You will liaise between field operations, subcontractors, internal departments, and external stakeholders to drive project execution and ensure timely delivery within budget.

The role emphasizes cost control, scheduling, and coordination across multiple projects with a focus on meeting client requirements and company standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 2–5 years in cable/telecom construction (fiber and coax preferred).
• Experience: 2–5 years in project coordination or supervisory roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all phases of construction projects including pre-construction, permitting, design, material procurement, construction, and closeout.
• Support planning of workflows, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Ensure projects are executed in accordance with established standards and timelines.
• Monitor project progress and proactively address delays or issues.
• Develop and support cost estimates for construction projects.
• Monitor job costs and track work-in-progress against budget.
• Review and evaluate change orders for accuracy and financial impact.
• Support cost control efforts to ensure project profitability.
• Conduct site walkouts and ride-outs to assess project conditions, gather data, and monitor progress.
• Perform post-construction reviews to ensure quality and completion standards are met.
• Identify field issues and collaborate on solutions with internal teams and contractors.
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and construction crews.
• Monitor contractor performance against project goals, timelines, and quality standards.
