Job summary

Team Fishel, the Best Choice in Utility Construction, is hiring Laborers for telecommunications projects in Roanoke, VA. You will work with a crew on site, perform physical labor, and assist with underground piping and conduit installation.

Applicants should have experience in underground telecom and hold OSHA-10 or be able to obtain it within 60 days. A valid driver's license with a clean record is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in underground telecom preferred.
• OSHA-10 certification required or obtainable within 60 days of employment.
• Must be able to follow instructions and work as part of a crew.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig, and reach.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record for last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Work as a part of a crew.
• Assist in all manual labor aspects as directed by the Crew Leader.
• Handle physically demanding construction duties.
• Assist crew with placing underground pipes and conduits; shovel work and power tools operation.
