Responsibilities:

1. Perform general labor duties related to telecommunications construction: loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal, and placement of materials and equipment.
2. Install and repair aerial telecommunications cables.
3. Use hand tools and equipment safely, including wrenches, drills, ladders, lanyards, saws, lashers, climbing hooks.
4. Operate mechanized equipment such as bucket trucks, digger derricks, excavators.
5. Set up safety perimeters using signage, cones, barriers.
6. Flag traffic when required.
7. Work safely aloft using climbing hooks and ladders.

Requirements:

• Be 18 years or older.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license.
• Previous construction experience, preferably in telecommunications.
• Ability to climb telephone poles, work in bucket trucks, and work aloft up to 40 feet.
• Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly, up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to set up and maintain safe work areas.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, ice, snow, wind.

Physical Abilities & Exposures: Extended periods of standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying up to 50 lbs, and working in adverse weather conditions.
