Job summary

Davey Resource Group, Inc. seeks a Telecommunications Operator to drive and operate a derrick digger truck in support of telecommunication construction projects.

The role includes pole setting, equipment transport, site restoration, and general line construction tasks onsite in both urban and rural environments. Applicants should have a valid CDL, be comfortable traveling within the service territory, and be prepared for 40–45 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy construction equipment (derrick digger truck).
• Valid CDL driver's license required.
• Willingness to travel across service territory within NM/TX.
• Full-time availability; 40–45 hours per week typical.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a derrick digger truck and 30’ pole trailer.
• Maintain a clean, valid CDL driver’s license.
• Work with maintenance crew or as laborer when not operating equipment.
• Train others on proper operation of equipment.
• Operate company vehicle safely and according to policy.
• Complete paperwork, time sheets, and logs.
• Ensure safety standards and DRG/customer requirements are met.
