Job Title: Telecom Analyst / VoIP Technician

Location: Onsite in Milwaukee, WI, 5 -days / week

Duration: 12+ Months

Start Date: February 2026

Compensation: $28 /hour W2

ABOUT OUR CLIENT / ABOUT THE ROLE

Medix is currently seeking a Telecom / VoIP Technician for a contract opportunity with one of our healthcare clients in the Milwaukee area. Our client is a large health system, going through a company-wide VoIP refresh.

This Technician will be assisting this effort by unboxing, setting up and validating the new IP Phones. There will also be cabling and patch panel management (66 and 110 wiring punch down blocks).

Please note that this role is onsite Monday - Friday, based out of Milwaukee

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Working in a hospital setting
  • Unboxing and deploying new VoIP phones
  • Connecting phones to the network switches
  • Running and connecting area cabling (CAT6)
  • Managing 66 and 110 wiring punch down blocks
  • Testing /validating connections
  • Running / managing clean and efficient cabling in the closets and data centers
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
