Community Memorial Healthcare is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide general nursing care in a hospital setting. The role emphasizes patient and family education, accurate documentation, and collaboration with care teams. Cross-training in PCU may be required to meet department needs.

The position requires CA RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least six months of acute care experience. BSN is preferred for advancement and specialization opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current CA RN license is required.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• Current ACLS Certification required.
• Six months of recent full-time acute care experience in an acute care hospital or equivalent.
• Stroke/Sepsis Education competency within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Provides general nursing care to patients in hospital and effectively plan and communicate patient and family education.
• Cross trains in PCU per department needs.
• Accurate and timely documentation consistent with practice and hospital policy.
• Explains procedures and treatments to patient to gain cooperation, understanding and compliance.
