HCA Florida Capital Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for Tele Neuro on a PRN basis in Florida. You will collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with department standards.

The role emphasizes advocacy, education, and continuous improvement in patient outcomes. Responsibilities include admission assessments, medication administration, timely documentation, and patient-family education.

Qualificações

• ACLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Acute care experience is required.
• RN or APRN licensure in Florida in good standing.

Responsabilidades

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response and document care in the medical record.
• Provide prompt, compassionate care and respond to patient requests, anticipating needs and resolving issues.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up steps, translating medical terms as needed.

Formação académica

Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma

APR N or RN license in good standing
