Job summary

OSF HealthCare's eICU center seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join a collaborative tele-nursing team, monitoring critically ill adults across multiple ICUs and supporting bedside staff with evidence-based care.

Required are an Illinois RN license, BLS, ACLS (or within 90 days), and strong communication. Preferred: CCRN and a Bachelor's in Nursing, with 3+ years in critical care and solid computer skills.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED.
• Experience: Three years of recent experience as a staff nurse in adult critical care; 1–2 years in a role requiring collaboration with health care professionals.
• Licensure/ Certification: Active RN license in Illinois; BLS; ACLS provider (or within 90 days).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; solid computer skills; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous vigilance and tele-nursing to critically ill adults across ICUs.
• Monitor patient status and initiate early interventions as needed.
• Support inpatient nursing staff with evidence-based decision making.
