SmartLam North America seeks a Tekla-certified specialist to own Mass Timber detailing workflows. You will design, model, and implement Tekla-based processes for timber projects, lead custom steel detailing, and extend workflows into manufacturing and site logistics.

Responsibilities include creating fabrication models, coordinating BIM and RFIs, and developing standard Tekla practices for efficient data transfer to production. Join a team pushing Tekla to its limits.

Qualifications

• Deep Expertise in Tekla Structures.
• Creation & use of custom components.
• Environment setup for Tekla adoption in a new team/company.
• Implementation of Tekla in a new team/company.
• Reading/interpreting Construction Drawings.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Highly organized and detailed.
• Advanced communication and organizational skills.
• Able to work well with and manage others in a team environment.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and deploy Tekla workflows for Mass Timber Design & Detailing.
• Lead modeling & detailing of custom steel for Mass Timber Projects.
• Extend Tekla workflows to manufacturing and site logistics and data exports.
• Create fabrication models and associated documentation.
• Import, review, and cleanup of third-party 3D models.
• Manage Tekla model and 2D submittals; coordinate BIM.
• Manage project-specific RFI’s and BIM coordination.
• Develop Tekla standards and BOM outputs; optimize data quality.
• Export Tekla data for production; integrate with Trimble Connect.
