Job summary

Greater Peoria Family YMCA is seeking a Teen REACH Coordinator to lead youth programs, family services, and program administration. You will develop structured teen and family programming, oversee budgets, and collaborate with schools and community partners to expand services and engagement.

Your role includes recruiting and developing staff and volunteers, ensuring program quality, safety, and compliance, and delivering a high-impact curriculum with strong emphasis on youth development and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience (e.g., supervisor or coordinator of programs).
• Minimum age of 21.
• Experience working in a Y (or similar) membership organization.
• Proven results in increasing program quality and growth through exceptional planning and organizational skills.
• Must obtain within 30 days of employment and then maintain current certifications in CPR/AED Basic Life Support, First Aid and Oxygen Administration

Responsibilities

• Lead teen outreach programs and manage program budgets to meet fiscal objectives.
• Ensure programs meet community needs by supervising activities and expanding services.
• Recruit, hire, and develop staff and volunteers; provide onboarding and training.
• Develop structured programming for teens and families, including workshops and family engagement events.
• Build partnerships with staff, parents, schools and community organizations to maximize impact.
• Lead mobile or community-based outreach programming in partnership with local organizations.
