Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada is seeking a Teen Specialist to oversee all teen programs at assigned Clubhouses. You will plan, develop, report on, and implement programs in collaboration with the Programs team, and may serve as acting Clubhouse supervisor when the Clubhouse Director is absent.

Key duties include managing programs, evaluating outcomes to reflect diverse youth, mentoring members, promoting activities, ensuring grant compliance, and assisting in daily Clubhouse

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of experience with middle/high school youth in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google productivity tools.
• Ability to manage multi-age groups and lead activities.
• Strong time management and deadline-oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal and team leadership skills.
• Effective communication with the public, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and oversee the administration of teen programs aligned with organizational goals.
• Evaluate programs and ensure alignment with gender and cultural diversity.
• Maintain documentation, deadlines and program metrics.
• Mentor and enforce conduct standards; communicate with parents/guardians as needed.
• Promote programs and assist in member recruitment and retention.
