Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare of Conroe is seeking an exceptional caregiver to provide one-on-one school-based support to a teenage client in Conroe, TX. The role emphasizes compassion, confidentiality, and teamwork with family and school staff.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, full-time in a school setting, with a focus on independence, comfort, and dignity during the school day. Experience with medically fragile youths and infection-control procedures is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Previous professional caregiving experience is required.
• Experience with medically fragile teens or cancer patients is highly desirable.
• Strong infection-control knowledge and standard precautions.
• Patient, observant, dependable, and emotionally mature.
• Excellent communication and reporting changes in a client's condition.

Responsibilities

• Accompany the client to school and provide one-on-one caregiver support throughout the school day.
• Assist with personal care and ADLs as needed within scope.
• Support mobility, positioning, and comfort as appropriate.
• Monitor general well-being and report changes to family and office staff.
• Follow the care plan and infection-control procedures.
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism with school personnel, students, and family.
• Collaborate with family and school personnel while respecting roles.
