HealthCorps, Inc. in Oklahoma City seeks TMHH Mentors to lead a wellness club in 1-4 schools. You will inspire teens to adopt healthier habits, plan lunchtime demonstrations, and support peer-led health initiatives during the academic year.

The role is 8+ hours per week, with stipend and college credit available; you will gain professional development, leadership experience, and a close connection to the community.

Formación

• Undergrad/grad student in public health, public policy, biology, nutrition, marketing, psychology, education, social work or related fields.
• In good academic standing with your university.
• Commitment of 8+ hours per week for the entire academic year.
• Self-motivation and leadership in community health topics.

Responsabilidades

• Develop strong relationships with teen wellness leaders and site partners to ensure effective delivery of HealthCorps programming across 1–4 school sites.
• Assess school health needs and track impact through needs assessments and reporting.
• Plan and implement Teens Make Health Happen clubs with 8+ hours per week commitment across sites.
• Host Café O Yea demonstrations and contribute to HealthCorps’ social media with program highlights and student stories.
• Represent HealthCorps in Oklahoma City, supporting outreach to teens, staff, and community members.

Educación

Undergraduate or graduate student majoring in public health or related fields
