Job summary

Increasing Desired Behaviors is seeking Behavior Technicians to support children with autism across in-home, clinic, and school settings in Hemet, CA. You will implement behavior intervention plans, collect data, and collaborate with BCBA teams to promote skills and positive behavior.

This part-time role offers afternoon/evening shifts, with 10–35 hours weekly. Requires high school diploma (bachelor's preferred), 2 years experience with children, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

Behavior Technicians (BT) are paraprofessionals who care for patients with a wide range of behavioral challenges. They assist in the implementation of care plans and work with children one-on-one in clinics, hospitals, schools, mental health facilities, or their own homes.

BTs use techniques to make life improvements for children. They facilitate behavior change by modifying maladaptive behaviors and replacing them with appropriate behaviors.

BTs are expected to teach and help to promote language, behavioral, social, and daily living skills in a fun, play setting to increase motivation and positive performance for the patient.

BTs are required to collect and accurately record data on the patient's progress as it relates to the patient’s treatment plan.

Responsibilities:

As a Behavior Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

Starting Salary:

Clinical Rate: $20-$25/hr

Admin/Training Rate: $16.50/hr
