Fine Line Restoration Inc. dba Rainbow Restoration of Shoreview is seeking a skilled Water and Fire Mitigation Technician to join our team in New Brighton, MN.

This hands-on role helps homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, and other property damage, requiring problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. The role involves performing mitigation services, operating drying equipment, documenting damage, and communicating with owners and insurance adjusters.

Qualifications

• Experience in water or fire mitigation, restoration, or related trade preferred.
• IICRC certification (WRT, ASD) is a plus but not required; willingness to obtain is expected.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work in confined spaces.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Excellent communication and customer-first attitude.
• On-call emergency response availability.

Responsibilities

• Perform water, fire, and mold mitigation services on residential and commercial properties.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters.
• Conduct moisture readings and document damage assessments throughout the mitigation process.
• Perform controlled demolition including removal of damaged drywall, flooring, and insulation.
• Communicate professionally with property owners and insurance adjusters on job progress.
• Maintain, clean, and organize equipment and company vehicles.
• Respond to emergency service calls, including after-hours and weekend dispatch as needed.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
