Job summary

Celeron Square Associates LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our facilities running smoothly. You will perform routine maintenance on equipment, inspect for damage, and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The ideal candidate is reliable, a team player and problem-solver with maintenance experience. On-call nights and weekends, snow removal, groundskeeping, and keeping detailed maintenance records may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.
• Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems.
• Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques.
• Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends.
• Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.
• Valid CT driver license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to ensure efficiency and repairs as needed.
• Inspect the building for structural damage to windows, doors, and walls and perform necessary repairs.
• Keep a record of completed repairs and maintenance history.
• Maintain laundry facilities and the work area.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep the facility operating efficiently and safely.
• Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed.
• Grounds keeping including operating lawn equipment and trimmers.
• Snow removal, including snow blowers and manual shoveling as needed.
