Qualifications

• IP diligence experience and familiarity with patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets.
• Admission to the Massachusetts bar or eligibility to become admitted.

Technology Transactions & Licensing Counsel

Our client is an Am law 100 firm, seeking a Technology Transactions Counsel for its Technology Transactions & Licensing group in New York as well as other firm-wide offices. This is a fast-paced role in a dynamic practice. The position involves advising on licensing and commercial strategies of technology, data and digital assets in a range of industries. The salary range for this position is between $250k to 437k.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in IT technology and commercial transactions - drafting and negotiating a wide range of agreements including software licensing, service, development, distribution, marketing and partnership agreements.


• Experience with software licensing, SaaS, software, cloud computing, platform technologies, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and data-driven business models.


• Experience advising on IP as it relates to diligence, M&A and financings.


• Familiarity with IP law, including patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and copyrights - strongly preferred.


• Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and written and oral communication skills.


• Admission to the Massachusetts bar or eligibility to become admitted.
